The World of Care and Repair

Care and Repair Scotland in association with The Alliance hosted The World of Care and Repair, our first digital conference, on Wednesday 24th March 2021. 

Care and Repair Scotland has held an annual conference in March for the past 20 years. Covid restrictions prevented us from meeting together as normal.

However, the Zoom digital platform allowed us to hold an exciting event that was viewed by over 200 people.

The conference was opened by Kevin Stewart MSP, Scottish Government Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning.

The morning session featured presentations from organisations in Australia, Canada and America that assist older people to remain in their own homes through repairs and adaptations.
